Coming To Christ Must Bring True Transformation

Christ has saved us not only to snatch us from the eternal consequence of sin but to make it possible for us to glorify God by serving Him in the beauty of holiness. Glorifying God is the main cause that should compel us to live a life that is God honoring.

A life that’s built on expressing our deepest appreciation, gratitude, and reverence to what Christ has done for us on the cross. If we’re in Christ, there must be a total transformation that takes place in our lives as a result (2 Corinthians 5:17).

How The Holy Spirit Has Transformed Believers

Before we were saved, our lives were like an utter wasteland filled with toxic wastes, which could not produce anything of great value in the sight of God due to sins. Therefore, Christ came in order to restore that land by taking care of the toxic wastes which are symbolic of our sins by His own blood on the cross.

Then God sent His Holy Spirit in order to plow and fertilize that land in order to enable us to bear good fruits for His own glory. So let us allow the Holy Spirit to carry out His regenerative, life-changing, and mighty works in our lives as commissioned by God by submitting ourselves to His leading daily.

How To Ensure God’s Grace Isn’t In Vain

If grace is defined as unmerited favor from God because of His unconditional and sacrificial love for us manifested through Christ on the cross, so why do we position ourselves in the same horrible state we had been in the first place which penalty was eternal wrath? In fact, in order for God to be gracious to us, He had no choice but to withhold what we had truly deserved which was His judgement.

So His grace which is something undeserved given to us that is so precious should be embraced, cherished, and appreciated by our sincere willingness to lead holy lives that fulfill its main purpose for which it was given, which was to empower us to walk away from sinful living through Christ’s death and resurrection. Thereby, God’s grace shouldn’t be abused or taken advantage of as a result of persistent sinful living to the extent it becomes something that is in vain.

The truth is whenever grace is part of the equation, what you have is God, us, His justice, our sins, and chance and time. So grace is time upon time, and chance upon chance that God has given us, so that we can get right with Him.

Meaning that salvation, repentance, and restoration is readily available under grace. On the other hand, when grace is taken out, then there is no more time and chance available. Consequently, It becomes a matter of God giving people what they had truly deserved which is eternal wrath.

Transformation Must Ensue Coming To Christ

Transformation Brand Science

Christ has saved us not only to snatch us from the eternal consequence of sin but to make it possible for us to glorify God by serving Him in the beauty of holiness. Glorifying God is the main cause that should compel us to live a life that is God honoring.

A life that’s built on expressing our deepest appreciation, gratitude, and reverence to what Christ has done for us on the cross. If we’re in Christ, there must be a total transformation that takes place in our lives as a result (2 Corinthians 5:17).

If there’s no change at all, then it’s pointless for us to have come to Him in the first place. Therefore, it would have been much better had we stayed in our old ways of life due to fact that we’re doing both Christ and ourselves a great disservice. Moreover, if there’s no transformation, this proves that we didn’t really need Christ in our lives.

Most importantly, one thing you need to realize is that your willingness to live a transformed life after receiving Christ is the main factor that will demonstrate whether or not you were sincere in the decision that you made to follow Him.

True Confession Of Sins Should Lead To Repentance

humble

Confessing sins before God is to admit that you’ve done evil in His sight by seeking His forgiveness. But, the most important aspect about confessing sins has to do with what we do later, so this is where repentance comes heavily into play. Because our post-attitude toward a particular sin that we’ve confessed before God determines if we were sincere during the confession.

The main problem is that lot of times we act just like we had never made any confession to God by keeping on doing the same old things we’ve been doing all along. Living in such way then places ourselves into a state before God in which we cannot receive His blessings since God doesn’t reward rebellion.

Because it’s one thing to ask God to bless you; however, it’s something entirely different to actually place yourself in a receiving state by being obedient to God. Lot of times we pray God to bless us, but when God is about to bless us, He then finds ourselves meddling with sin, which is tantamount to us turning our back on Him by going back in the same sinful things that we had already confessed to Him.

What It Means To Trust God

Trusting God actually means stop hanging onto the very things that have the potential to create both trouble and confusion into your lives. Trusting God means letting go of the things that we have no control over that are disturbing us, as well as stop clinging to the things that are hindering our faith by relying on the trustworthiness of His Word.

Trusting God almighty implies being willing to look beyond the very things that may become an obstacle to our ability to exercise faith in God on the ground of His promises.

Husband Love Your Wife As Christ Loves The Church

It’s mind-blowing that God has commanded husbands to express a type of love to their wives which is similar to the one Christ has expressed toward the church. Bear in mind, this love isn’t an ordinary one but one that is profound, unconditional, sacrificial, and selfless.

So the only way that type of love can be expressed is when husbands have chosen to allow Christ to work within their hearts through the person of the Holy Spirit in order to empower them to accept and love their wives in a fashion that honors and glorifies God.

In this case, how a husbands treats his wife in the sight of God determines his character in Christ. The responsibility of the wife is to respond to her husband through submission and respect. See Christian marriage.

The Fundamental of Having Faith in God

Faith isn’t predicated on how we feel but on what the Word of God says in connection to whom He is, what He’s able to do, along with what He’s willing to do on behalf of us if we’re willing to trust Him while going through the storms of life. Thereby, what really moves God isn’t how we feel, how bad our circumstances are, and our needs but the type of faith we’re willing to exercise in Him regardless of how terrible our situations may be.

In this case, do not allow bad circumstances to hold your way of think hostage. Instead, let the Word of God decide how your should react to unpleasant life circumstances.

Let’s Be Grateful To Christ

The main foundation of the Christian life is predicated upon Christ’s death and resurrection. Apart from Him, there’s absolutely no hope and future for mankind. Christ voluntarily yielded Himself up for us with no reservation, so He’s simply asking us to do the same thing. The massive pain, shame, rejection, and humiliation that He knew He was about to go through didn’t hold Him back from giving His life for us. This is a clear demonstration that His love for us was far stronger and greater than our sins.
